Southern Lagoon Museum

Housed in an old convent, it exhibits archaeological and ethnographic artefacts from the lagoon area found in the Chioggia area. It has a floor dedicated to local seafaring from the 18th century onwards set up thanks to private collections.

Inaugurated in 1997 and housed in an ancient 14th-century convent, it is spread over three floors tracing the history of Chioggia from pre-Roman times to the present day. The second floor, dedicated to seafaring and local shipbuilding, is peculiar.
