The link between Italy and Norway is even stronger thanks to the work of the Dante Alighieri Committee in Røst. In Norway there are seven Dante Alighieri committees, but the one in Røst is the northernmost committee of the Dante Alighieri Society.
The Røst Committee was established in order to promote, safeguard and spread the italian culture and language, through the promotion of specific courses or activities of the great and varied Italian cultural heritage.
The office is located at the Querini Pub, where it is also possible to view the Committee’s rich and varied library.
